Question on FP3
), but as I understand it, it is only improving the current map. In other words, if you run one autotune session, and then do not flash the changes, when you do another autotune session, you are merely continuing to tune the original map. When I tuned mine, I loaded a basemap. For most aftermarket slipons, V&H will tell you to load the map for V&H slash rounds. I ran about a 20 minute autotune session on that, doing a LOT of throttle varying, some full throttle pulls, etc. It gave me a really good number of green cells. I flashed that map and then repeated, that way I was loading the changes made to the first map, then improving upon the changed (2nd) map.
I did the same thing again (3 autotone sessions), then set my idle up to 900 (FP3 wants to set it at 850), and I was done. It performs flawlessly, and I could definitely feel the improvement.
YMMV

BTW: Semper Fi
So on my 07 FLHR that I bought two years back with 16k on it, when it went in for the 20k service last Fall I bit the bullet and replaced its fuel filter. The bike ran fine before and ran better after. My 2$C.
