Default Engine Build

Out of curiosity.....besides the normal cams, pushrods and current kits available for the M8, if you were to do a complete rebuild or replacement of the M8 what would you do and why? I've been toying with the idea of doing a FM 117/120 or a complete crate motor. Seems there aren't many aftermarket ported heads and such available for them, S&S doesn't list anything. I'm thinking getting some crank work is a must as well.

Thoughts????? Thanks.......

FM is a vendor here and they have a good rep. The 107 has been out for a year and there are a lot of companies in the middle of engineering and testing.

S&S should have something avail within a few months. A complete crate motor... Not sure anyone has developed one yet, at least I haven't seen one.
Jims builds hot rods but nothing on their website either.

It all depends on what your after. We have already taken a 107 and changed it to a 120 with Bore, stroke, compression, cams, heads, throttle body and more. All of this has been out there running for about 5000 miles now, with no issue other than transmission fluid transfer. So what are you after?

Thanks Steve......I'm not looking for a dragster. I'd like triple digits numbers on both sides of the line. The stage 2 my bike came with, to me lacks, maybe due to it being HD parts. The 447 cam isn't impressive as what they hype it as. Can you send me some details on what y'all have done? Is the HD crank an issue to be concerned with?

Does your website have a kit and page where I can look at the numbers?
