When someone has an issue with something, they usually are upset and vocal and vent their frustrations on the net and forums. It gets picked up, spread around. Someone else does something similar and then suddenly it is a major issue effecting the majority of people. And then there are people who buy a new bike, immediately put a stage 2,000 kit with a mega tune to launch it to the moon and then report of leaks and such after riding it to the limits of HP. You never really hear people go online and say, "I bought this Harley and had no issues." You only hear about negative stuff usually.
This doesnt mean there isnt a sumping issue. It just means that I wouldn't go by online complaints on a forum to gauge whether or not there is a systematic issue with a component. Only time will really tell.

its hard to do a simple poll because you really do not get into the mods that someone made on their bikes. it needs to be a more in depth poll, sumping on a stock Harley vs a stage 2 or 3 Harley to be fair. I do know that the squeaky wheel gets the grease. I figured this is a good way to see if its really a big problem or like I figured, a few isolated cases.
