Mine pisses oil on the rear pipe and saddle bag, it started doing it after I installed the HD high flow AC, I've gotten used to it and carry an oil rag in my bag now, I just wipe it off when ever I stop for a break and keep on rollin on 2.

was the AC cover overtightened, the pleats crinkled, and notice a gap between the filter element and the back plate at the bottom? I've seen this happen..make sure the breather bolts aren't loose and possibly the o rings not installed correctly..run your finger under the breather bolt casting to see if it perhaps is coming from above..obviously a little overfilling and running hard will cause this to happen as well..good luck

I've taken it off and reinstalled a couple of times checking all of the above, it's no big deal. I ran a S+S stealth AC for a bit and it did not puke, put the HD back on and it went back to the same.

ok, worth a shot..I have the same AC on my 17 RK with no fuss no muss, a friend had the same setup and had the same messy issue you report, noticed the filter was crinkled with a gap, replaced filter and didn't over tighten cover and all is good like mine

Since the oil was already leaking I let it go to the lower end of the stick, I checked, reinstalled the AC and torqued it to S&S's recommended spec. to see if it would stop and it didn't. I will will run the bike the rest of the week and weekend and will update. So far it's bone dry...

I don't see how the header could be responsible for blow by out of the crankcase. The two are not related in anyway.
