I have a 17' Road King, I started by installing S&S Mk45 slipons then came an S&S Stealth AC and V&H FP3 with the recommended tune, then did an autotune... she ran great. I then installed the Fuel Moto Jackpot header... when I started so see oil blow through my AC and drip on to the rear exhaust cover, saddlebags and cover. It didn't matter slow speed, high speed, hot weather, cool weather. I've installed stage one's many times and never experienced this so I just went in reverse order, First the stock header went back on, I then filled the oil to factory spec as it was down a little and did a 200 mile day in the upper 80's at 70, 80 and a little 90 MPH passing.
The oil leak stopped and this is where I stopped. I have had Fuel Moto products in the past and they've been awesome. so maybe it's the components I installed together that made the blow by...who knows, I am glad I did it one piece at a time and I'm just happy the oil stopped leaking.
Ps Anyone interested in my FM header?
Thanks for listening.
i have a fuel moto jackpot header fuel moto breather SS MK 45 slip ons and a PV tuner , tune loaded by Fuel Moto.......been hot here.... been riding hard....... 2017 SGS Zero issues......
The exhaust pipe has nothing to do with your oil issue, that is a separate mechanical problem.
I don't agree with a "separate mechanical problem" but I would agree that it may be the components I put together... either way the leaking stopped when I put the stock header back on.
