I had these on the last couple Road Glides, still have the left one and on my new RG. I can tell a bit of difference but with the new design on the new 15+ wondering how much they help. Honestly seems like I have more air coming at me with the new fairing than I did with the old, no matter the vent configuration.
I had them installed on the bike at time of purchase. I use a 1/2 helmet, 14" freedom touring shield that I just see over. The other day I took them deflectors off, and discovered turbulent wind beating on my ears. Put them suckers right back on.

Thanks but word of caution. Notice I said I only have left side. I lost one on 2 sets from the old design. If/when I end up with these I will secure them better by drilling a hole and securing with a zip tie.
I noticed a big difference when I put them on at around 100miles on my '16. I took them off and transferred them to my '18.
Ugh the white and black road glide makes me weak in the knees, beautiful bike man. I bought my 17 a month before the 18s came out, kinda wished I would of known. Love mine though.
Yeah theyre worth having. My 09 RG was pretty good about not buffeting. Had a good windscreen, wings, and the deflectors. With the deflectors my 17 is better.

Thanks and that was the deciding factor. I will be picking them up ASAP.
Now I wish I would have included this in the original post but what about the half moon that mounts up underneath the trip tree. Doesn't look like HD makes one yet but Kury does. I had it on the last bikes so can only guess everything helps?
Disregard the Kury. Just bought it for $31.49. Here ya go if anyone is interested.

It usually one or the other with the half moon and the deflectors. I used to have some half moons laying around, but I think I discarded them. Im also running a 13 Freedom shield.
