Just saw this. Not sure it's worth the price of admission but I have the Truebeam in the RKS and I am really happy with it. 800 bucks is a lot of cheddar.

The biggest question I have is how much better is it than the stock headlight? You're right, $800 is a lot of cheddar, is it $800 better that the stock unit? Don't get me wrong, I use many Custom Dynamics products. I have the bullet replacements of my '15 RG and they were $200. I would definitely consider the windshield trim lights. I just haven't seen that the stock light was deficient, just don't know that I would replace it unless it was proven to me that this was a huge upgrade.

Stonecold, to me that was the single biggest weakness of my '13 RoadGlide. I tried to assist those two virtually helpless, dim yellow parrafin candles with the running / signal lights from Custom Dynamics since I would not spring for Daymakers. It got to the point that I would run brights at night, and still had difficulty. And at that, the low beam of my Yamaha FZ-10 is at least twice as bright as those twin kerosene lanterns!! Now on my '18 FatBoy I can see!! (and also have the Custom Dynamics white / amber running / signal LEDs...
God bless you for posting this. I would rob a bank if I had to in order to get better than stock lights for the Road Glide. Now I hope Harley NEVER makes a brighter light as I am sick they dragged their *** on this. Yeah, now I have a Christmas gift on the list...
Anyone that does not appreciate this over stock does not ride at night.

My 17 already has LED lights and they do a really good job in my opinion. I know the previous generation ones were very weak but for the current bike the standard lights seem very good to me.

I will agree with you that the 13 and older RG headlights were anemic, but the 15s and later come with a reflector led that seems to do a good job of lighting the road. Granted it is still not the best at lighting the curves and if this light could be proven to do a bang up job of that then I would consider replacing the stock light with it. Even the Daymaker replacement for the 13 and earlier RGs did a poor job in the corners.
