I had them on my 2017 CVO street glide. I think they are good quality and sounded a lot better than stock. I just switched them out for a Fullsac system. Cant wait for some decent weather to try it out.
That's what I'm looking for.. More deeper rumble at idle, more bark when you jump on it but mellow at cruising speed. Had big shotongs on the heritage for 15 years... Enough of that craziness..
Yeah...my days of high/low shotguns open pipes is over too. Overall I like the sound of the RCXs..theyll do just what your asking for in regards to the sound. Im not sure why mine were flat on torque...I did have Stage 1 and a dyno tune done with the Street Cannons before trying the Khrome Werks and the RCXs.

Have you looked into the S&S mk45? To me they sounded much better than the rcx and have that good rumble when you get on the throttle. I have the black finished, but quality is excellent.
I'm running RC Slip Ons on my 2017 Road Glide Special, Stage One with decatted stock headers. In my opinion they provide a perfect combination of sound when I hammer the throttle and are quiet at cruise.
I have had a set on my RGU for quite some time. Way Way WAY better sound!!!!! When you start the bike up, it sounds like a Harley should sound! Finally!!!! They can be pretty mellow riding around, but when you want to crack it, they bark!! That is what I was looking for.
Recently went 2:1 so will likely be throwing my RCX up for sale. I really liked the RCX sound. From the time you pushed the button till you rolled it back in the garage, maybe better sound than my 2:1. The 2:1 is a big investment so I have to stick with it for a bit.
Not to hijack, but look at the S&S MK45 slip-ons. Have 6k miles on mine and they sound better the more miles they got on them. You won't be disappointed.
I know this post is a few months old, but Im looking at either the RCX, Vance & Hines, and S&S MK45 slip ons. Sound is important, but not as important as keeping the warranty (so no head pipe until the warranty is up), as well as not losing any low/mid range torque. Anyone have real world experience with these? I currently have a 2018 Street Glide Special with stock pipes, Heavy Breather, and Pro Street Tuner.
