I own a 2017 RKS and I'm looking into buying a windscreen. Looking for opinions on the Memphis Shades Drop Top. If you have any thoughts post 'em. Any windscreen suggestions are appreciated.
Be sure to check out Clearview Shields..... great people to do business with...... Prices are low, quality is through the roof AND their stuff works..... I had a recurve of theirs on my '09 King that was awesome..... I've probably had 6-7 shields from them now over the years....call them direct and ask about "blems" .... I bought one for my Limited that said it had "a minor surface imperfection" ...damn if I can find it and it was less than 60 bucks!!!! ....DW
Plenty of LRS experience here. Never had a problem. Well, other than their new RG shields are a bit high but they are suppose to be getting around to that this summer. As far as how often they run a sale, even their regular prices beats the competition.
I find questions like "what's the best exhaust" or "what's the best shield" generally yield a list of everything that exists. This thred will eventually bear that out.
I have a 17 RKS as well. I had to get the right bars on first before windshield. Cable fittings hit if the bars are too far forward. I am 6,2 and need a taller shield (19 inch at least. I went with Freedom Shield that required the CVO rackets because it has a cooler fairing look. Wind still hits me in mid forehead. I wear a full face so no biggie
