I know this is an old post but thought this might help others with the same question. West End Motorsports did a whole series of videos comparing slip-ons on the M8. They even did a side-by-side shoot-out and let viewers vote... the ultimate winner was the TABs w/ Zombie Baffles! You can check out all the videos on YouTube...

Hey MattD, I'm one step behind you. I currently have the Neighbor Haters on my '18 Rd King and they're a huge improvement over the stockers, but I want more!!!
I'm planning on going with the Tab BAM Sticks w/Zombie Baffles soon. Your bike sounds great BTW.

Man these m8 motors sound great cammed I'm also going to be going with some tab slip ons with zombie baffles unfortunately I'm not a fan of their 2-1-2 head pipe that straight 90 bend crossover is going to create turbulence instead of flow now that jackpot xxx for the m8 is a hell of a good flowing 2-1-2 head pipe
Hey all, Been following this thread for a while. I really like the way the Tab/Zombies sound but am hoping that you who have headers and Zombies can help me out. No matter how many videos one hears, they never sound like they do IRL.
I plan on getting headers with crossover and really like the Zombies, but how are they when crushing at highway speeds? When not grabbing a handful of throttle? I like loud bikes, my last cruiser had Cobra straight pipes, and they sounded GOOOOOD but you could “put the sound away” when you didn’t want to be obnoxious.
My dealer is trying to talk me in to Cobra NHs, and while I loved my last Cobras, I keep hearing others on the forums say they are not really that loud.
I plan on mult-thousand mile trips and need more sound than a pissed of sewing machine, but nothing that will kill my head for hours and days on end. I REALLY want a nice loud bike, but I don’t want to be “that guy” either. LOL
Thanks for any input, J

Reason: Added more
I have a de-catted stock head pipe with Tab/Zombies and TTIs. With both my SE Stage I, and since going to Stage II (RS 468), I am totally satisfied with the sound - volume and tone. IMHO, it's not too loud at all when cruising at highway speeds (can do it all day if I want),,, but they really light up when you grab a hand full. I hope this helps.

The videos I posted above are stock header with cat/Tab Zombies/SE Torque cam, and then the Tab header/Tab Zombies/CR-480 cam now. I can say the setup now is significantly louder than before. I do believe the majority of that, is the CR-480 cam. Removing the cat should not have had *that* dramatic of a change. With that being said, I will say it is loud. Too loud??? No.... I can still hear the radio at 80 mph on the highway, so that is my gauge of it being too loud or not.
I am in the process of swapping out baffles, DK's TTI's, Torque cones with Z-rings, etc to tailor the sound to my specific liking. I think I have settled on a setup that is perfect, just haven't had dry weather to take another video. I will hopefully have something by the end of the weekend and post it in this thread.
