Mufflers only no cat
I've got an M8 softail Slim and will be changing mufflers only for now Unlike the touring bikes where the cat is in the head pipe on the softail the cats in the muffler so Id effectively be decatting. Am I ok without a tuner with just the mufflers or am I going to be making her run too lean? Not changing the air box just mufflers only. Im not sure if the ECM will accomodate the change enough?

I had screeamin eagle 4" slip-ons, no cats and no tuner, then added a tuner but didn't really notice a difference after selecting the combo I was running but used it to tweak my idle and warm up fast idle. When I went with Rineharts to up the sound I had to to make a change to the tune because it leaned out and developed a surge.
