I hoped from input from people that actually had them, or have them now.
I see on their web site they are offered on the 17's & up m8's.

I would not put them on my bike.

All they do is fool the ecm to think its lean at all throttle positions and load. Then add fuel. You are basically dummying down your fuel management.

I have had them on 2 bikes and they worked great. If you understand their limitations, they do what they are supposed to do. Had them on a 15 Ultra and 10 Deluxe. Both were slip-on only.

I worked with Steve on a few proto types XIEDs for the new bikes. We had lots of issues with the check engine light coming on. Apparently Harley made some changes that are difficult to overcome. I've had several of the earlier models he produced. Maybe he's overcome those issues by now. You should call him directly and ask.

I sent them an email 2 weeks ago asking about the XIED's for the M8.

Said they were working on them and expected them to be ready in a couple months.......

I did install the adj on my 2017, seemed ok at first, than created a real problem and had to have bike reflashed. Have since used the PV-2 and all is great. The xied worked ok on my 09, 11 and a starting point on the 14.

I'd be willing to bet after the EPA made Harley it's bitch that Harley has taken some drastic steps to further prevent emissions tampering.

Fortunately, there's always a hacker to offset the balance.
