Over 110 easy on stock ‘18 Road Glide. With the 117 stage 4 I’ve seen 120 on the speedo - redlined fifth, shifted into 6th, buried the needle, only lifted because I had had enough but it had more. I’ve read that there is a speed limiter but haven’t found it on mine.

HD speedo's are notorious for being off, especially at higher speeds. If you are reading 120 actual speed is probably 105-110.

I do believe that all electronic ignition bikes are governed.
My '76 FXE had more top end than any of the later bikes that I've had.

My '00 Ultra T/C 88 (all stock) would top out a flat, level ground at 105-106 MPH (according to the speedometer).
My '98 EVO (carb dnyojetted) with straight Samson Fishtails tops out at 90 (I think this is die to the open exhaust).
My '13 CVO Ultra 110 will do at least 90MPH (with more to go) but that's plenty fast enough for me!

You can tell that there's more to be had from these engines if only the reins were removed

I did not find this to be the case on my 2018 Softail. I used a GPS speedometer app and verified the Harley speedo to be within 1 mph of the GPS at a wide variety of speeds. Maybe their Speedos were inaccurate in the past, but mine at least seems very accurate.

I had mine up to about 95 then let go of the throttle. I didnt need to go any faster. It was fun though.

2018 RKS with Street tuner, slip ons and breather. Was on the Miracle ride for Riley Hospital. Long story short, we got to ride our bikes for a lap around Indianapolis Motor Speedway. I was in the front 10% of bikes on the ride so there was minimal traffic on the track. I came around turn 4 at about 85/90 and felt comfortable and had space so I said screw it and opened her up. I stopped looking down when the needle buried. The thing was hauling A$$ and had I not been in a controlled environment, I would never have done it. My dad was on a 2016 SG and said when I went full throttle, he did too and he said he couldn't catch up to save his life. The M8 has ***** man.

Side note, I do not exceed speed limit more than 5/10 when I ride anywhere so it was cool to feel the speed.

2017 Street Glide with Stage 1 will hit 115 mph on a slight downhill into the wind. I'm pleasantly surprised with how quickly the lead sled will get up to 100mph. Once it hits 100, it's ok to 110, then takes forever to get to 115mph.
