M8 Road King all stock with 4500 miles, did a top speed run and reached (slowly) 104 mph, then felt that was all the bike had in her. For those of you who know of anyone who has done a high speed safety run on the M8 let us know. M8 stock or modded, ect. lets see what we got here. Land speed course, 1/4 mile strip, a flying mile course, or autobon. What does the M8 got in her.
I've hit triple digits several times on my 17 RK for the quick adrenaline rush only but reaching that point I shut er' down..really see no reason whatsoever to even go that fast...I have no issues with going 80-90 on trips regularly tho
it was a nice day very little wind, flat hiway, no traffic, the bike was rock solid going 100 mph for the few seconds it was there. just did not seem to have much more left to go.
H-D on the autobahn? Seriously? Well OK, maybe if you stay in the right lane. I would choose my left lane time on a H-D very carefully. Closure rates in the left lane can be a real sobering experience and a H-D, even at full flail, will be nothing more than, as my son likes to say, "a rolling pylon".
I've had my 06 95" RK up too 110 on the speedo. That's about all it will do (with the shield in place). If this new M8 will hit 100 then fine, whatever. I doubt I'll ever go that fast much anyway.

So what are you riding these days, hoss?
Seems your sole purpose in being here is to slag HD and brag about your son's Kawaricki (which, as sport bikes go, is an outdated overweight slug itself).

Are you really that delicate? He's only stating facts, if you're doing 100 in the fast lane on the bahn you have a death wish. Thats the equivalent of doing 30 on a normal motorway. No one is going to come in here and say they got 140 out of an M8 even with all the mods you can think of.
