My bike did it today on the way back from Laconia. P0522 & 23.
Not a light you want to see first thing in the morning when you start your ride...

My 2017 street glide purchased in 2016 first m-8's out (stage three big bore kit) has did that from day one but isn't a persistent problem and has never used a drop of oil! Sensor and oil pumps has been replaced several times. I know when you see that red oil light you think oh ****!... I just make sure to restart it check my oil pressure and make sure light went out no big problem I'm getting used to it now but it is unfortunate there's no fix almost 3 years later cmon HD!

2017 StreetGlide Special, M8, ~42,000 mi. Just got both codes: P0522 & P0523 followed by PN41000521a. Checked my oil and I'm about 3/4 qt low. Only 2,000 mi since I had 40K service. This is the first time the oil has ever been low and I check it every thousand miles or so. I topped it off and reset the codes. It's been fine for the last 300 miles, no codes and the oil level is right on. I'm just going to keep an eye on it. Does anyone know what that PN number is all about? I tried a search of the forum and didn't find it.

I think its the oil pressure sensor, but those part numbers often don't really address the actual problem. Just because the sensor is throwing a code, it doesn't mean the sensor is bad (what sensor would report which bad sensor?), it means the sensor is sensing something.
