This is a first for me.....when I hit 76 - 77 mph on the Limited, I am getting a vibration. I pushed it to almost 80 and it got pretty bad. 75 and under, the bike rides smooth. Wheel out of balance? Thoughts? This is without the Tour Pak but I would think with or without, she should run smooth. Any feedback would be appreciated.
If you suspect a balance issue anytime is a good time to add Ride On. It balances as well as prevents flats. You are more likely to get a flat (should it occur) in the rear as opposed to front tire so I strongly suggest a liberal dose front and rear. Cheap insurance.

Plus 1 on that. I am using RideOn in both of my bikes and it does a superb job of balancing the tires. Also the flat protection is an added bonus. If you have custom wheels that you don't want to add weights to it is a must.
Quick question. Have you checked your tire pressure? It could be as simple as that.
2017 RGS. Found two issues. Steeing head adjustment at loose end of spec and tire out of balance. Adjustment help some. But balance did the trick. Harley wouldn't cover either.

Took it in to the dealer. Front wheel threw the wheel weight so they re-balanced. I had them also replace the clutch interlock switch. They said they tested and it was bad. All under warranty.
It's tire balance probably. Equipment and operation expertise. I carried my Tacoma 4X4 into Cosco and had 4 Michelin tires installed. Stock tire but big for a small truck like mine. Shook like crazy at 55 and I assumed something was wrong physically with tires like out of round..
Ask the manager what he thought. He apologized and told me he would check it.
I watched him balance them. Did notice he slightly snuck up on the weights. All it took.
Six thousand miles later, I carried it in for a rotation and forgot to tell them just rotate..no balance necessary. You guessed it, to Cosco, its automatic. Rotation to them is rotate and balance.
And of course, my shake is back.
Depending on where the out of balance is when it comes to dynamic out of balance requires careful balancing with fixed weights.
