The shows main character is a "Fed Snitch". F**** Kurt Sutter for bringing this **** to the world. Makes all MC's look bad and puts thoughts into jurors heads prior to trial. Mayans.... no thanks.
We should ban video games and rock n' roll too. Dancing also. All those provocative hip movements. Stuff of the devil.
Saw about 15-20 mins of it last night as I was flipping stations. Didn't see very much riding going on, just an obese guy chained to a pole being "interviewed" by some debonaire chap. In fact, I didn't see 1 motorcycle during the whole time I was watching. Strike that. I DID see a Harley commercial.
I guess this is what Harley endorses? Oh well, **** is taking a risk too, I guess.
If Harley had a brain amongst their board members, they should get their adventure bikes under Ewan McGregor & crew for their next installment of "The Long Way Up."
Funny thing, they actually RIDE as compared to pose.
EDIT~ I didn't know "N ike" was a dirty word. Let's just say the shoe company with the "swoosh."

Mayans is a drama about a fictional MC that will use their bikes as simply a means of transportation. If your expecting long sequences with them on their bikes, this show probably isn't for you. Trying to compare a docu-series that is focused on the holistic experience of motorcycle adventure touring to a dramatic series about the make believe life and times of a lowrider MC is a bit of a stretch.

Seriously? The Mayan's is about the Mongols MC without saying the name, same as SOA was supposed to be 81 without saying the name, they even had Barger on an episode. Just so happens right now the Mongols are in a full blown 7 year long RICO case where the Feds are trying to take their patches. Clubs currently battling RICO, or other made up federal indictments trying to steal intellectual property affects all MC's. If the MMC loses their case, who's next? It's based on a ridiculous fantasy that all bikers are bad and that all MC's have the cartel or murders happening daily.
Don't make the mistake of thinking this doesn't affect the average Americans thinking of "Bikers" with patches, because it does.
edit: I don't support or speak for any of the aforementioned clubs. I just know BS when I see it.
Who gives a crap what 1% clubs do with their supposed bad TV press - big waaa. Not me. I'll watch the show if it's entertaining. If not, then not.
If one of them big ole 1% clubs had a weekly TV show with them either stomping *** or saving a bus load of nuns in it, I'd watch that too, but I bet that would be about 50-50 fiction as well.

You should, it makes all your wet dreams of living the lifestyle in your weekend persona come true. If not for the original MC's and the press they got HD wouldn't even exist today.

No thanks Pop - that isn't my wet dream in your hand, that must be yours. Couldn't care less what they contributed to HD's survival either.
I'd like to see them all save some starving children, hand out some toys or something. You know, do something important.
Respect is earned, never demanded. Do something for my respect and you'll get it. To date they haven't earned it.
I cant believe ppl are arguing over a tv show. Facts are facts. There are and have been MC's that engage in bad stuff. I've known some personally. I dont think a tv show is going to make any of those hardcore outlaw biker clubs look any worse. lol
I saw a lot of riding, ape hangers and fishtails. Saw Jax's mother from SOA in one scene and well as the SOA club in another. If you enjoyed watching SOA,I don't know how you would be disappointed with this. Its got a story line, blood and guts and motorcycles, what else do you want? its entertainment
