Hey jmd897 - I bought my first HD z90 when I was 14 with paper route $ - great memories of the original Reggie Pink HD. And I used it to prowl Van Cortlandt Park for stolen cars and dropped handguns ~ ferrari's, jeeps, cadillacs, custom vans, ninety-eights, 22s, & 38s ..... never knew what I was going to come home with.

I recently did my top end and I’m still in the process of completing it. Best advice that I can give you is do a lot of reading and maybe watch some videos from reputable company’s. Twin can stuff or m8 stuff there is some basic principles that should be followed when installing cylinders on to pistons and cleanliness. If in doubt stop and do some research, if something doesn’t feel right then it probably isn’t. Hopefully you decided to tackle this project and I’m sure there are a lot of members here that can help answer your questions! The hardest part to me is the paranoia once it’s running, check everything , and repeat 20 times over again.
