Default alloy boltz engine kit

I just purchased these for my 2004 heritage,looks pretty straight foward,the tranny top and inside lifter cover bolts look the hardest, anybody install these ,have any advice ,thanks

The mid-frame post is going to have to come off, I tried and was unable to do it without at least removing the lower bolt and swinging it out of the way. Suggest complete removal. I had already removed the oil tank, so I don't know for sure if the others can be done without taking the tank out, pretty tight in there. I used a ball end Allen wrench for the lifter blocks. Hope this helps.

I have done at least 6 kits, great product. a ball allen helps to get the rear lifter block bolts, Mike

I got these too,I take it you use anti seize on pretty much all of them and not lock tite. Is that right?

I wouldn't use anti-seize on any of them. Loctite unless you want to find them loose miles down the road.

well got everything on .except cam cover,,tranny side door ,tranny cover,hopefully just take exhaust loose to get get enough room

Blue Loctite. If they are stainless and you are one of those that put a torque wrench on everything then I believe the torque is different for stainless fasteners. Probably lower.

i got 2 cam cover bolts and 2 tranny cover bolts left ,i have D&D fatcat can i just loosen the 2 headers and remove muffler mounting bolts and get enough room ,thanks
