Hello, now that I will be taking my motorcycle in for the clutch actuator fix, and my warranty is almost up, is it inevitable that I will have to have the switch pack replaced on the clutch. Mine has not done anything wrong and so I figure I would have to pay for it. Does anyone know what kind of costs are involved in this fix

Not sure why you feel the need to replace the switchpak?
If it comes to that, they are super easy to switch out on a canbus bike. You just need to unbolt the covers, unhook the small wire connectors to the switchpak, and undo the "latch" mechanism for the switchpak to take it off the handlebars. Do the reverse for installing a new one. It's like a 15 minute job. The hardest part is taking off the thumb switch cap, on the left hand switchpak, to get the covers off. It takes a certain feel/finesse to do it right.
If you need to replace one, buy the lighted set. It's like $40 more than just buying one at $160..... you can add a PTT button (if you don't already have one), and get lighted switches too...

was free for me under warranty, the newest replacement parts and been working as designed for quite awhile now
MJ it's more than I thot, guess I will stick with what I have until it breaks. MJ is their a warning or does it just give up?
Mine failed early on. Someone here told me to spray the plunger with WD40. That worked for awhile. It was replaced under warranty and worked every since.
