Considering running t man 216, s&s 475, comp cam on my 17 cvo. I cant really find any dyno charts on the 216 but it came recommendedfrom friend i ride with. I ride solo mostly and pretty aggressive. Long distance rides are common but i like to play with other bikes light to light. Jackpot head pipe with hi roller mufflers or mk45 muffler. Power vision and maybe doing a throttle body.

You need to be honest with yourself and answer three questions
How quick do I want it
How much do I want to spend
How often am I running the engine above 4000 RPM
Those three honest questions will set what you can do. Remember that 3000 RPM in high gear is 80 MPH

im willing to spend the money to do the bolt on stuff and a cam. I would like to hit 120 hp with decent bottom end torque but i dont think that ill get that with just bolt ons. If i had to do anything more than cams i would just do a big bore kit and be done with it. My old bike was a 96 and ttying to keep up with with everyone else i think i was winding it up pretty often. Out of all the people i ride with the se 110 was the only one i could stay next to until about 65 or 70 mph then he would start to pull away. Lol the 114s and the 143 would just pull away.

So the current bike is a 114 Touring and you want it to run 120 Hp. Sorry, but your not going to really get that number with just bolting on a A/C, Exhaust and Cam. 110 Hp sure, 115 Hp maybe. Now you could take it to a dyno that reads real high and get the numbers but that doesn't get you anything other than a piece of paper. Typically a good low RPM Torque cam (TTS 100, RS 468) is going to produce the best riding bike but will show lower HP and a mid range Power Cam is going to produce better peak Hp numbers but give back some of the low RPM torque. The best bang for the buck IMHO is doing a big bore kit with cam, if your really looking for the 120Hp number. You can do more but the dollars go higher and higher and the gains begin shrinking.
Lol im aware of what fuel moto can do! If the cam just isnt enough then i will consider doing the big bore kit. Im not going to go and spend the money on a throttle body to pick up 5 hp when i can spend a little more and make 15 more.... its not even the numbers im really after but with the big bore kits the power and torque curves are so much better.
