Congrats on the new bike, and for having such a great wife! While that's very nice of your sweet wife to say get a new bike with the 114 M8, your old 107 with the Red Shift 468 would have been much more fun to ride. I've ridden my '17 RGS stock, I've ridden the '19 114 RGS, and even the 117 CVO. They all had plenty of power really, but some of us are never satisfied. Then I put a Red Shift 468 in my 107 RGS with a D&D Billet Cat. I've never had a simple cam install create so much of a difference in power, and that power is right where you want it on a bagger. At freeway speeds you can feel that you are right on the powerband and a simple twist of the throttle will get that bike to jump forward quickly! The 107 468 combo will blow the stock 114s and 117 s in the weeds. It's nice to know that you have a warranty and new tires and all with the new bike, and it's always a thrill to ride out of the dealer on your brand dew bike!.

Thanks Northside....I agree the cam would have been a blast but really, the 114 has all I need. I was only going to do the cam to get a better exhaust sound. The extra torque would have just been the icing on the cake. But to have two more years of warranty on a engine that is still working out the kinks gives me some piece of mind. I had trans migration on my '17 and have it on my new '19. Checked it at 351 miles and was 3/4" off the stick. It's going in on Sunday to get the vent fix, which from everything I've read has been 100% effective in fixing the problem.
Tires were a consideration as well as the rear would need replacement before end of summer. Although I liked the infotainment center on my '17, the new one is really sweet. I also had a small dent in my gas tank from dropping a wrench when I installed my '14 inch bars (such an idiot!). I guess I was so shocked by my wife's insistence that it was easy to justify, lol.
Battoutahell, My question is, did you switch over the mufflers, AC and Power Vision???
I let the Rush Big Louies go with the trade in. The AC and PV2 were never installed on this bike... I bought the Power Vision from Fuel Moto for my '15 FLHTK and it'll need a new license when i'm ready. Going to add a set of Jamie's slip-ons in a while but have to let things settle down a bit, lol.
Shopping for 14" bars and CD lights at the moment.

Congrats!
I have the exact same bike, color and all, you will not find a more capable or comfortable touring bike than the RGU.
First bike we have owned that we didn't need to change anything to make it more comfortable for the long hauls other than removing the heel shifter.
Enjoy!

Thanks Candler....other than the bars and some strobing brake LED's on the rear I feel the same way. Besides the 114 and new infotainment system this bike is identical to my '17, color and all.

Congrats on the bike but the sound is the same you will want that cam. Enjoy
Congratulations on the new bike and for having a great wife. Thats kinda how I got my 2018 CVO. I test drove one in Daytona at Octoberfest and told her how much I liked it when I got back home. She told me to go get one if thats what I wanted.
