Default M8 clutch feedback

I do experience some feedback in the clutch on my 2017 Ultra Limited CVO. I have the AIM light force and it works great. When I feather the clutch or just pull it in slightly and goose the throttle I feel movement in the clutch lever. It also seems to move the friction zone. After doing this it moves the grab on the clutch to very close to the grip. Is the clutch on this bike different than my 2014 ? I also never noticed it before the AIM but the AIM is working as it should and has been bled properly. The AIM is the best for anyone with finger problems.

Feedback in the clutch handle seems to be a normal thing on the '17-up touring bikes.

One of the first thing I noticed on my new 19 RGU. THe feedback and the amount of hand strength needed to keep the clutch pulled in at a long light. What is the AIM you are referencing?

Aim slave cylinder...

Op. The feedback is normal. The aim (at least mine) does have varying engagement points, but got much better with a couple thousand miles. Love the clutch feel with the aim.

Who at HD decided to get rid of the cable clutch? Thats one of the greatest systems, so adjustable and I think easier. Oh well, better get used to it.

I would not be able to handle the bike if it was not for the AIM light force. I did have a problem with my first unit but the 2nd one is great. I hope the friction zone gets a little more consistent.

Love my AIM my first unit was defective but have over 5k on replacement with no issues. I also changed the clutch damper spacer to the 2019 version. This moves the engagement point in closer to grip. The results are fantastic for anyone who like me has hand issues. AIM is the absolute best motorcycle related investment I have found.

I too love my AIM. Actually puts some 'feel' back into the clutch similar to the old cable versions.
