So, I just blocked a weekend on my calendar in September to do this...
My wife: Whats this SS1000 on the calendar?
Me: Thats a Saddle Sore 1,000 challenge! Were gonna ride 1,000 miles in 24-hours!
My wife: Um, you mean YOURE gonna ride 1,000 miles in 24-hours. Have fun.

Well done. I did this in my younger days on a BMW K bike and 20 years later I still remember how hard it is. 300 mile days are now my norm when I tour. Congratulations!!!

Me and 2 buddies did this 3 weeks ago. 1150 miles in 22 hours. the documentation and paperwork was harder than the actual riding!
