Harbor Freight has a Motorcycle Wheel Cleaning Stand. Basically a small base with two rollers that you put your wheel in and are then able to spin the wheel with the bike on kick stand. Has anyone tried one of these to see if they are stable? Probably not the right forum but didn't see a better one since I will be using it on my M8 powered wheels.
i saw one a long time ago and thought that it sounded like a great idea. bought one, tried to use it, and threw it in the trash. at the time, my bike was a sportster and even with the lightweight of that bike, you could not spin the tire easy enough to effectively clean the wheel. and that was the front wheel. no way you could do anything with the back wheel.

much easier and quicker to do on the j&s jack.
I had the exact same experience, I purchased one 5-6 years ago seems like I paid around $20 and figured for that price I had nothing to lose. Tried it on my Wideglide front tire and it did not work at all like advertised, honestly cant remember if I returned it or threw it in the trash. Later purchased a J&S Jack and it makes cleaning bikes and wheels a breeze on both my Roadglide Ultra and Wideglide
I have a black max scissors jack I use for that purpose. I only raise one end of the bike at a time but it works well to clean the wheel spokes. I've had it for about 12 years and it helps with everything from oil changes to shock removal.

Another dont do it vote. I can turn my wheels on it but because the bike is at an angle the wheel doesnt stay centered on the thing so I get about a quarter turn or so before it starts to get off the rollers. Great idea, decent construction deeply flawed!
