Laidblaw compares a 114 RKS vs a 107 RK in this vid. Lots of features wont matter to you, but they do say they feel the motor is about a 10% difference in feel.
Here's basically a stock 114 My 107 with same setup only difference was a CR 460 cam did 114 tq and 103 hp..
This 114 bike has great roll on power 70 to 100 like nothing
Maybe someone could overlay a stock 107/114 graph here for the OP?
Peace.
Okay, here you go:
This graph was created from the following two graphs that Harley published in the parts & accessories catalog. I took the stock numbers from each graph and transcribed them to Excel and plotted them, resulting in the graph given above.
So, pretty much however you slice it, the 114 delivers about 8 hp and 10 ft/lbs more than the 107. Considering the 114 is about 7% more displacement and uses the higher-flowing Ventilator air cleaner, the results pretty much match up with what you should expect. (Ignore the Stage III and Stage IV numbers, those are irrelevant for the purposes of determining the stock dyno graph data that Harley published).

So to the OP a Stage1 on a 107 will probably not get the 8HP/8TQ without an aftermarket tuner and dyno time ,so no warranty if you go that way.
Peace, HTH.
Agreed, and the 114 makes bigger % jumps with its stages than the 107 does.
Again, both great motors...but since he’s asking...
people who who are happy with the 107 know what they wanted and like what they got. If you Don’t “know” you will “wonder”...and if you don’t get the 114 you will always “wonder”...
The 114 is cheap peace of mind mind and more power as well...double win.

I have a stock 2019 114' FLHTP. I traded in my stage two 2017 107' FLHP. In my opinion, my stock 114' is stronger than my stage two 107" was (with SE parts and tuner- I understand there are much better stage two builds).

This is what I did ended up with 134 ft lbs of torque and 114 horsepower
Someone will correct me if I'm wrong (too lazy to look it up) but the 114 is bigger but the compression ratio is less. So yes, while you get more cubes it's not a massive increase in power like if you took your 107 and made it a 114.
Not only that but the price difference and the beating you take at the dealership on trade is simply not worth it (performance wise).
