Default Front brakes dragging

I just installed new front chrome HD lower forks along with a 19 inch front chrome rim and 18 rear. I have adjusted and adjust again but still have front brake drag. I followed directions on installation., Did I miss something ? Any help would be appreciated

It comes down to your definition of brakes dragging. Most all Harleys have a slight drag when spinning the wheel. Make sure you followed Harley service manuals directions on tightening front axle. There is a sequence to it to keep legs straight.

You ask about how much drag, with the tire off of the ground I can spin it and get 2 to 3 revolutions

That sounds about right to me. If the brakes are warm, having just been used, then they will snug a little tighter on the disc. As they cool down they will relax a little, but will always drag some.

I don't have a picture of the legs, but will take one this evening and post. This was my first lower fork change, not sure what you mean by square up the legs

i think you're probably fine. the only thing pulling the brake pads off of the rotors is the retraction of the pistons due to the rubber boots. in other words, not much. so you're always going to have some minor 'touching'. when it becomes a problem is when that touching is actually 'pressing'. if you ride around the block, are your rotors hot to the touch? or just a little warm? if hot, then you have drag. if it's just warm, you're good.

Yes they are hot to touch after just a short ride around the block
