I have a 2017 SGS that i bought in 16 the day after the M8's were announced. When I bought it, I purchased the 3 year extended warranty which runs out in a few weeks. Bike hasn't given me any issues besides the clutch switch going out, but that is not a big deal to me. Still using design #1 on the OEM oil pump and no issues. I am looking at putting on some Jackpot High Rollers, Fuel moto AC, and PV to get her Stage 1. Later down the road I am wanting to do stage 2 with either a S&S 475C, Zipper's Red Shift 468, or a Wood Performance-WM8-22X. Have seen videos of the 475 a Red Shift 468, but none of the 22X(like its early torque curve per Fuel moto). Any one have any videos of the lope on the 22x on the M8. One question I have is it that I have seen some of the engine sumping problems happens when the bikes are getting ridden hard in the upper RPM. I'll take her through the gears once in a while, but if I'm in a rush or need to be somewhere fast I'll hope in the truck or the sport bike. On the SGS I'm in no rush and will get there when i get there. Does the Lope at idle say when installing an aggressive cam over stock at Stage 2 have any affect or contributing factor to making the engine sump "IF" it was going to happen?

I've been running my 475 cam for over a year and around 10000 miles since install. I ride it pretty hard at times with no issues to date. Not sure its a cam that is the catalyst to sumping, but some others here with more knowledge will chime in I'm sure.
Upgrade your bike and enjoy it is all I can say.
Also there are a couple threads on here, Fuel Moto started one, and a stonecold and steve cole started another, to test various cams. They posted dyno results as well, so I'd read through those if you're still not sure which cam you might be interested in.
I purchased my 2017 Street Glide in September 2016 after break in with 2000 miles had a stage 3 big bore kit installed with decatted head pipe, twin slash exhaust, power vision tuner, air cleaner, etc which was heat cycled and broken in on Dyno by a very reliable engine builder which I think is a must! I now have 15,000 hard miles with no problems other than minor recalls.
