You might want to rethink that statement. Go look at them and touch the plastics. Cheaply made. https://youtu.be/Jhydd6mueqk
Ive done an extended demo on it. Its build quality is on par with H-D. The adjustable windshield rattled a bit in transition positions, but was good at full up or full down. Its performance is better than this years H-D.
I know we have gotten off topic, sorry OP, but I agree about the challenger being cheap and plasticky. I would buy this Yamaha Eluder over it, and thats not knocking the eluder because it is actually a very nice bike that I would ride without hesitation.
I'd be ashamed to ride the Indian Challenger.
Probably prefer a Rune..........................
If they still made the Rune, I’d already have one. They were gorgeous bikes. I just don’t want to maintain a 20 year old bike that may be difficult to get parts for if they are ever needed.

Definitely they're cheap looking and to the touch, they age on the lot, they're cramped, god help you if you break down or need a part and they look hideous

So tell me, what good is an adjustable windshield that rattles everywhere BUT full up or full down??
I'd get a BMW K16 before I'd get the Indian! Oh wait, I did!
I dont know why anyone would pay $10K more than a 2020 FLTRK with say, black option. There's really not that much difference. 3 cubes? Pfft who cares?. Audio? you can upgrade your audio for about $2K aftermarket. So now we're at $8K. What do you get for $8K? Lighted switch controls ($269), Proximity ignition (who cares?), power locks (I can operate the locks manually thank you very much). What am I missing? Badges? I see a lot of guys pretend to have CVOs by copying the badges, so that's apparently pretty easy....
Heated grips are standard on the Limited, but they're pretty plain. Maybe its the nicer heated grips that attracts everyone.

Plenty of people must care cause they sure do them!
