How many of us here are saying I wish FM was closer to me! Lol. I do. Carry on.
Where there's a will, there's a way......
I travelled to FuelMoto to have them install/tune one of their 124" crate engines in my '16 Ultra.... the weather was forecasting some snow, so I trailered my bike.
It was a 4200 mile round trip....!!! Four days there... three days for the install/tune... four days home.
All depends on what parts you have to start with. What exhaust? What heads do you want or already have? What clutch do you want? Do you want high end parts like a Ward ported intake? Do you want to upgrade your AC to the FM custom AC? Do you already have a tuner? Do you want to upgrade the TB? Its the combination of components that adds up to the total performance outcome.
call them, they are actually very friendly and will gladly walk you through a build and provide a price. It amazing how easy and free it is to get a price for what You want, vs what someone else did .
Great write up. Sounds like it delivered all the goods! Congrats. Something for me to dream about at night if I ever encounter a need to rebuild. Thanks again sir.
I have a build coming up with them and it's right at 7500 but I'm getting heads and the xxx header. Also s&s cam plate and pump and the light force for the clutch. After seeing heatwaves dyno numbers though I'm considering ditching the heads and saving a little cash. His sheet looked better than some of the builds they've done with heads.

And you could save another $500 going with the new HD 2020 8-lobe oil pump instead of the S&S oil pump and plate.

If you give up the heads, you will also be able to forgo the XXX head pipe, that too will save some coin. lose the heads, get the non XXX head pipe and as Heatwave mentioned go with the new HD pump... nice savings and still awesome build
