I am think of getting some REAL pinstriping done on my hog. I am talking about hand work with real paint and clear coat to protect the work. none of that vinyl BS for me. Anyone have that done on their M8? I know it depends on the amount of work done and who the work is done by, but whats a rough idea for the cost of getting this done. Would love to see some photos if anyone has any of THEIR bike.
but on my VTX, done close to 15 years ago. I had the same guy do it that did my vette. I paid him about $100 for this. He did it all by hand after we first discussed what to do. Good thing about a bike is that it's much smaller than a car so it requires a lot less time. I've never been a fan of curly cue type pinstriping so my basic stripes and the lettering to set off the black bike was simple and not as costly as some out there. I didn't have him do any striping except on the tank. Then the 1800S on the side covers and the VTX on left and right of the front tins.
