probably too much oil.. when you install that thing, drain everything out of the pan and also the case by pulling the cps sensor. then refill keeping 4-5 dots low on the stick as mentioned above. you may think you have all the oil out but there's excess possibly sititng in the crank case when you drain the pan. when you refill, you've now overfilled since you didn't get everything out of the case. hope this helps!

Wouldn’t sweat the milky color stuff... that is moisture, had the same issue in my Tacoma. Solution is to ride it long enough to get warm.

I was able to watch the video from A-1 and did see I was running oil level higher than recommended, Lowed the hot level to the add mark plus 2 dots and still have slight oil coming out after cleaning the vent line and filter.

1. You checked it hot regarding the oil level? Basically asking if the proper procedure was done. Easy to not do an oil check quite "properly". Not trying to say you did anything wrong, just trying to find a solution.

2. Where is the filter installed & hose routed?

Do you know how dipsticks work?

"Factory spec" as you are calling it, is between "ADD" & "FULL".
Cars used to be marked "SAFE". So you wouldn't panic because it wasn't all the way to the FULL mark.

You probably wouldn't call it "snake oil" if you understood about crankcase pressure.
Is the Fueling vent "snake oil" also?
Or the other vents that are the same basic design as the A1?

No I would not panic, but I also would not perform an oil change in my car or bike and purposely leave out 1/2 quart.
