I think I will check again for an intake leak. Some say use non chlorinated brake cleaner. Is it safe for the rubber seals and plastic manifold? Thanks
27300167 KIT,INTAKE,SE, TUNEABLE $159.24 from Surdyke and I also bought new intake to head seals 27300087 (two in package).
This part is the SE throttle body - is there no metal backing plate that will fit a stock 114 throttle body?
Edit - my bad, that's what you said, but am curious if there's a metal backing plate that I can replace the plastic one with, or (extremely likely) do I have no idea what the F I'm talking about?
After it gets warmed up good, it idles pretty high. Too high. Will hunt for idle some after first starting up while let it get to temp. Ive tried the reset multiple times with no luck.
Mine has always idled weird. When I am coming to a stop it idles up a little till stopped. After turning engine off for a few minutes it will idle up when I take off. It's not the EITMS, I know what that sounds like. I have checked for intake leaks and there doesn't seem to be any. I have read where others have had issues, so thought I would ask here for a fix if any.
Thanks
SR
This is what mine does.
I doubled checked for an intake leak and it does not have one that I can find. I have a Power Vision and it was worse with the first map Fuel Moto sent. They sent me a revised map and helped a lot but still is a little weird.
