My first thinking is the wrong calibration was installed and now the system can’t deal with the wrong info.
I do know TTS will not allow the user to install the incorrect calibration into a bike.
I believe they are the only ones to do that but not sure.

Again, has the OP called Dynojet? You know, the ones who made the Power Vision? They might have a helpful suggestion.

Sorry, I didn’t see the OP’s brother say he was waiting for dynojet to call back. Interested to see what they say.

they had him try to force the original tune but bike just shuts off as it starts flash. It was late last night around 5pm so they were supposed to call back first thing but sent email at 1145 asking for more details on the bike. Seems they forgot that it was working fine till he flashed a diff tune that came from them.

the bike had already completed a heat cycle and he was cking cranking pressures. Realized acrs were not working tried a tune they sent him. Tune loaded normally and when he turned bike back on after flash it had vinerror and won’t talk.

Going out on a limb, but check the connections on the cable. I had my power vision behave strangely until I removed and reseated the PV end of the cable and all was well again. It’s a long shot but worth a try. It gave me a vinlock error (where the PV didn’t recognize the ECM it was married to) It was a loose connection on the PV side.

Thankyou but we have tried that we have a vin error on pv aswell as on the bike itself. Still waiti g to see if dynojet will call back. Have an appointment at the dealer tomorrow. Bike was supposed to go to the dyno tomorrow but now it’s going to the dealer for what seems like a corrupt ecm. 😞

Ok. How are you going to handle it? If you have a good relationship with them you may be able to just pay for a new ECM and have them program it “no questions asked” However if not and you mention the PV to them they’ll likely flag the warranty of the bike. And if you try and warranty the ECM, the old one will go back to HD which may also eventually flag you...

bud the bike has a darkhorse crank ward +2 valve heads and a 124 kit. Aswell as about every other supporting mod u can think of. Install by him and I. I’m Not worried about warranty. But on the warranty subject both my fatbob and this fxbb power vision and 2-1 exhaust was installed and warranty covers till we tore the bikes apart and did the bb kit installs ourselves. Dealer recommended we do that said the Harley tuner is a joke.
