My reply was to ironworkers comment on the difference between the special and the standard. With a price difference of almost 7G's performance would not be a good argument for going with the special when a simple cam install for a grand would eliminate any performance gap. You do have the Boom 6.5 upgrade at $849.00. So for less than 2 grand you have the basically the same bike without being all blacked out.
If you cammed a 114 the gains would be there as well. Larger disdplacement almost always wins. It just the cost to get there is greater to start with.
It's pretty amasing how much potential is in the stock bike all being held back by the shitty stock cam. The only ones who know are the ones that have done it. I wasn't expecting the jump in performance that I got from the simple addition.
I noticed the weak cam when Im cruising at around 3,000 rpm and try and punch it, Ive since learned to ride a little different and get the most out of it, either way its a great motor with plenty of torque.
Wait till the 2021's come out, then they'll have all the bugs worked. No better wait for 2022's or possible the
2023's. Prolly best just to wait for the 2024's or maybe...

Man did you luck out already having the shocks, nice bike! I see alot of people tossing around the idea, what should I get TC or M8 weather it be on here or facebook and I always say there is going to be SOMTHING to complain about with EVERY bike when I was looking to buy a dyna ALOT of people said don't buy that bike because of the cam tensioner issue go with an evo for a real motor that will last along time or try to find a 96ci bike instead, I blew off the people warning me and jumped on it 06 dyna TC88 6spd bike and man that thing has ran like a champ never gave me a single issue
Now when it comes to the M8 vs TC thing you made the right choice without a doubt I experienced the TC motor in my Dyna and my old street glide and there is no way I would pick my old SG over my 2017 everything the TC does the M8 does alot better not to mention how much these bikes wake up with a cam holy smokes now not saying the TC sucks its a great motor but when comparing it to the M8 there is no competition really also side note the rocker covers are a beautiful sight
