Default Milwaukee 8 different blocks?

Hey I got a question it maybe a stupid question, but I picked up this extra m8 the other day and was noticing the blocks are different from my lowrider block it kinda caught me off guard because I have never heard anyone mention there is a difference!

If by blocks you mean engine cases there are currently two difference cases. The Touring based case and the Softail based case. The Tour uses one counter balancer and the Softail use two counter balancers.

There is the touring motor and a soft tail motor. The touring has a single counter balancer and the soft tails have a dual. There are other subtle differences

yeah I mean cases lol I am use the cars, anyways I guess I picked up a touring engine!

Just make sure you got the same heads, as Touring models have two different sets, Water Cooled or Oil Cooled and you can only use the Oil Cooled for your Softail

okay I check that out too I know the M8 is a new animal it’s not like the knuckle pan shovel evo or twin cams!

Sell the engine, there's lots of heads available on eBay to play with.
