I have JFG racing brand quiet slip ons and a K&N high flow intake. Was wondering if i need a tuner for a 2018 RG 107 ? Ig is running fine without the tuner. I have done my research and its 50/50. Some say m8 are very versatile and others says definitely a tuner. Anyone hear have any advice. Thanks in advance
If money is not tight/an issue, get a power vision from Fuel Moto.
It’ll run better...any future mods will lend nicely being able to tune them.
M8s aren’t as lean as the old twin cams, but you’re letting more air in and out, albeit not a TON, still good idea to maximize the parts you put on, even if the butt dyno doesn’t register much.

A tuner should make it perform better overall. As mentioned by a couple other members there are a lot of choices available. Since your bike is an 18 I guess it is out of warranty. If correct I would go with one of the recommended tuners. A power vision from Fuel Moto with their tune would be really nice and something you can build on later.
If you bike happens to be under factory warranty or you have a H-D ESP any tuner other than a H-D tuner will void your warranty.
Good Luck in your decision
