Obviously the more work the faster and more responsive, I would hardly call it a dog though, I had a stock Evo once, now that’s a dog. Stock bikes are too restrictive and underpowered, I get all I need out of my 107 though.

yup..I've had every TC engine and modified them all to varying degree of stage performance kits because they felt anemic from the factory..their Rushmore 103 H.O. designation was laughable..the M8s are the first honest to goodness acceptable power plant from the factory in Touring and Softail models as far as I'm concerned. Not dogs at all. Kind of like the new Toyota Camrys..they have over 200 hp 4 cylinder motors which is a lot more hp than previous versions..one can floor it and crush speed limits easily and get in trouble with the law no problem..for some it's not enough so they can opt for the TRD Camry with V6 that has over 300 hp and can light up the wheels with the traction control off, for ~ $5000 upgrade....~6% are sold with V6s.....doesn't mean the 4 cylinder is a dog and most feel it offers everything they need out of it to be enjoyable..same thing only different

That’s really interesting. I never thought of that. Now I’ll have to get the heads on my 128 oven done...
