Regarding the Rinehart slip-ons; I did stage 2 tq with HD high flow AC and RH DBX40's...it sounds great, but slightly loud for my taste, so I'm almost ready to go back to the standard baffles...sounds like a Big Block Corvette coming down the hill at Sebring YRMV
I also think the tune is off (what a surprise) and wanted to add an HD auto tune module, but HD has not released them for the 2021 MY touring bike yet and may not for some time...either a mating up to the new ECM, problem or not through the EPA cert process as yet...
the warranty is big for me. I did the 7 year esp with the SE option so getting all this done within 60 days so its all covered. The didnt say anything to you about warranty and header pipes? Id love to do headers and get rid of the catalyst but they said thats a definite no go for the warranty. The Rinehart slipons are a gray area but theyre EPA compliant so theyd have a hard time cancelling the warranty.
Slip ons are fine....but if youre running a decatted header, then warranty is voided.
The 114" loves the torque cam, I have had them in 4 bikes. First was the 2017 CVO limited. 2019 Tri Glide, 2019 Ultra Limited and finally the 2020 Road Glide Limited. The 2020 road Glide limited has been the best bike I have rode so far, 335 thousand documented miles since legally riding 1973 Currently running the torque cam SE tuner, Arlen Ness Big Sucker, and S&S Grand Nationals with DB killers. The perfect combo for a heavy touring bike. .Doing a WV trip first week of June, hoping for 3,000 miles in 6 days.
Some decel pop and slight hesitation when taking off...other than that, like everyone else said, pulls hard on up!
Had that decal pop... worse was the hesitation to the point of hate but when I went in to look at specs on the SE tuner (not my first rodeo with SE) it auto updated the SE tuner and reloaded tune and seemed to help, mind you the dealer installed this so I had not hooked it up.. so after I finally hooked it up to bike at home and it updated and reinstalled the tune so no technical experience needed. seems to take away some of the issues I was having.....thinking PV soon. but its better now so might hold off..... Did the stage 2 mod at 2k close to 5k now need to schedule the service yep I let em do it
I did the same cam and RCX slip ons. Really liked the change. This winter I went with FuelMoto full system and a powervison tune (from FuelMoto with preloaded maps)
the change made the SE tuner feel like childs play

See much improvement with the PV tune vs the SEPST to justify the cost? I've had one on various bikes in the past but it was always going from stock to the PV, now I'll be replacing the SEPST with one.
