Fuel Moto pitstop
Ive followed the forums and Fuel Moto always seemed like a leader in the performance motor building field especially with their mix and match parts backed by Dyno sheets so I could see the results. That along with the fact that they seem very knowledgeable and responsive to forum posts.
Anyhow, we stopped by their shop on Tuesday morning and talked to Tony for about an hour and a half. He seemed very knowledgeable and was very patient with us answering all of our questions and providing sound recommendations. He even took us back and gave us a tour of the shop. I told him that I have a 2018 CVO Limited that I have already added a Woods WM8-22X cam with a Fullsac head pipe and Khrome Werks slip-ons that have the insert baffles. Im still looking for a bit more power and he recommended their 128 kit with the new Woods WM8-22XE cam. The numbers look insane!
At one point I asked him who owned the Jeep Rubicon Hemi in the parking lot and he told me it was Cindy, the owners wife. Been thinking about getting one and this is the first one that I've seen up close. To my surprise, she came out and gave me a quick tour of it. Very nice lady.
At the end, I asked him how much I owed for the tee-shirt and skull cap and he told me no charge. This was another pleasant surprise.
Fuel Moto is definitely the type of company that I want to do business with. Looks like I may have to make another trip up there in the spring for the 128 build.
Hey Tony, thanks for the lunch recommendation in Marinette. Mickey Lus did have some great burgers!
Ive had the FM team do its magic on a few different occasions. The 128 build on my M8 is a blast to ride and the 124 Outlaw in my 2010 is a ripper!!
If youre serious about having it done in the spring and want your choice of dates, you better call them very soon to book your appt. They seriously do book out that far. I wouldnt be surprised if they are already booking into next year.
