Thumbs up Fuel Moto Performance upgrade 10 FLHTK

I just finished the install of Fuel Moto 2-1-2 head pipe, Jackpot dyno tuned mufflers, Fuel Moto air cleaner, dyno jet PC-V, Woods 555 cams, and Fuel Moto adjustable push rods.
I was going to stretch it out for several weekends and include other work but it went faster than I planned.
Everything was ordered by phone on a friday and arrived 1 week later on a friday. There were two boxes, the headers were shipped from a seperate location but arrived at the same time.
Everything fit good, quality was an 9 or 9 1/2 out of a possible 10, and 10 being perfect.
I read the do it yourself threads on this forum and bought a service manual and followed the instruction sheets provided with the parts.
For me it wasn't easy as pie. But not extremely difficult either.

I wont lie about it and say it took half the time than it really did but with patients it goes pretty smooth.
The two things that stand out as PITA, first my exhaust cross over piece and the new right side muffler inlet area needed to be expanded in order to slide over the mating parts.
Second thing was the bike was parked and not started for over two months, so after inital start up the lifters took a while to pump up. Believe me that wack-wack-wack sound is un-nerving. it quieted by half after the first minute. It took several minutes to quiet down all the way.

It runs and rides AWSOME. The sound is Awsome. Maybe too loud for some but I think most will love the sound level. The muffler head pipe combination give my bike the "harley" sound I was wanting.
The Woods knight prowler .555 cams give the engine a nice idle and performs awsome in the mid range RPMs.
I would buy this package and do it again in a heartbeat.

I agree!
Obviously I could have choosen from a wide variety of manufactures.

What I liked about Fuel Moto is all of the components were matched for the 103" engine so everything works together very well, with dyno test results posted. Also they back what they sell and offer support for life.
I liked the one stop shopping and their products are equal to or superior to anything available.
Also every customer has access to them. Personally I find a great deal of satisfaction knowing that if I need to talk to a real live knowlegable person they are only a phone call or email away.Thankfully I didn't have to call during the install phase, each time I was puzzled I would re read the instructions, consult the manual and then was able to clear up the haze.

Congrats, I bet it sounds great.

I could'nt believe how much better my bike sounded with just the Fuel Moto Stage 1 kit installed. The 555's are next on my list.

Since the install of the .555 cams I have only ridden about 60 miles. A good mix of city streets, interstate, highway and country roads.
At one point I shifted into 3rd and did a steady roll on to full throttle. To say the least ,impressive. The bike squated down, front forks reached full extension and stayed that way untill I shifted into 4th.

I was concerned the front wheel would pull off the ground, as it felt like it was going to.
Almost forgot to mention, It sounds just right for my likes. Not the loudest but definately can be heard, with a more agressive idle that sounds sweet.
