13k on board runs good. added some comfort mods , boom stage one w/amp, higher sheild to make up for RG fairing being lower 1.75 inches, put the adj vents back on. sound is perfect now between a little more range and little more wind blockage plus the grills look nicer.
just started to us the carplay and im never looking back
put a vented dip stick in last year and like it. no optional drain hose for the dipstick needed so far.
i run the oil a little low, no problem but i think mine still likes to sip some oil into the primary. f**kin HD my 07 still leaks oil like my shovel head oh well its grown on me.
as far as ticks or engine noises, no change seems very normal. tranny smoothing out with more miles, no need to mess with it so far.
did some other small comfort mods, linkage ,back rest ,ciro pegs, no engine work dont think i need it. focusing on long range riding.
took sometime to get use to tpms and hill assist , like them more then at first.

Reason: access to tranny cover mod
After five years, how are the Milwaukee 8s holding up? Thinking of buying a 2019 Street Glide after scumbags in New Mexico last month ripped off my 2016 Road King. I loved the bike and thought that after more than a decade, Harley finely got everything right about the Twin Cam. I like the M 8's torque curve but I'm concerned about issues like the ones that dogged the early Twin Cams. Does anything stand out as a major weakness or recurring problem on the M8? Thanks for your Input.

18,000 trouble-free miles on 2020 Sportglide. Bike's motor is stock. Rinehart exhaust let's you know there is a motor underneath you. I have to mention the Fox 13.5" shock coupled with the stock inverted forks make for an incredible ride.
28,000 trouble free miles on June build 2019 Sport Glide. Stage 3 upgrade, SE tuner for warranty, 116 HP. S&S Super Street 2-1 compliant exhaust. Bung King shock extender raised rear 1.75" without changing ride. As with Lammys's coupled with inverted forks makes for great ride and handling. Without the windshield & lowers this bike would mostly be a bar hopper with maybe 1/4 the miles.
Just hit 30,000 miles yesterday on my five year old 2017 FLHX! Had the front and rear head gaskets blow separately within 1,000 miles of each other, around 19,000-20,000 miles. Then also had the fluid transfer issue between the primary/transmission, but was fixed by the primary vent.
Other than that it's been smooth sailing. You can click my link in my sig if you want to see the life of my bike - I'll warn you it's a LONG thread lol

Put 45K+ on my 2018 Sport Glide in the 3 1/2 years I had it. DK air cleaner, Neighbor Hater slip-on with homemade lollipop, no tune, no issues with the engine. Only issues with the bike were a squeaky belt until they adjusted it a couple of times and the switches in both levers (one responded to contact cleaner, the other to a card-stock shim between switch and bar). Probably my favorite bike ever.
