Did I say M8 specifically? But yes. 20k is nothing. A bike should not be expected to return under warranty.
Do I have to one , to ask about reliability???? That makes no sense.
Just like an auto, I don't care aabout it until after a 100.
Did you say specifically? No, but it is a thread about M8 reliability so...there's that.
Do you have to have one (M8 or literallyanything) to comment on it's reliability? Yes, that makes perfect sense.
So for one to say that a person has to have an M8 (or again anything) for 40K before you can comment on its reliability is nonsense if you don't own one. I wouldn't dream of telling someone they have to have "X" amount of miles on their TC or Shovel before they can comment on it because I've never owned either. If you don't have any personal experience with one, you have zero point of reference. You just have what others say and have experienced that actually know what they are talking about. But you're not interested with what others have to say. You're just interested in being "right".
they are great bikes for anyone that wants one and can afford one just go buy one and start riding..they ain't cheap, but better than their predecessors which benefited from spending extra $$ on performance upgrades..which isn't needed with these new M8s
Not sure, but I think the point was that "I've had this thing for 100K miles and haven't had any problems" is better input about reliability than "I've had this thing for 10K miles and haven't had any problems." And that inquiring about reliability before buying something is a good idea and pretty common.
