Ok weird question. Recently bought a 2017 road glide. How do I know if it has a 131 and not a 128? It has screamin Eagle CNC ported heads. How do I know if the bottom was switched to a 114 so it could be a 131? It has no badging other than the Screamin Eagle CNC Ported badging on the heads.
It looks like your front head says CNC ported. If that's the case then it's a 117 stage. If says stage IV then 128 or 131. If bike came with 114 or 117 then 131.
You need to check what dealer sold you. If they don't know you need to find out.
114 bottom end is the same as the 107 the stroke is just a little longer on a 114 . Going to suck when problems come up if you don't know for sure.

it does say that. I was told by dealership it was a 131. Just doesnt look like it and they had no docs.

I love em too! They cant look up service records though? And sold this to me as a 131?

escalate to the GM there, they should make every effort to answer your questions..if it came in as a trade, you may never know its history...but yeah, it's fair to expect them to provide supporting validation of its displacement for using that as a selling point
As mstrobes pointed out, if it was a 107 to 128 Stage 4 kit, the heads would say Stage 4.
Also note that a 131 crate engine usually say Stage 4 on the heads... so it's probably not one of those.
If it was a 107 to 114 Stage 4, those heads say CNC ported...but to muddy the water, you can buy the CNC ported heads separately so it's not automatic that you have the 114 stage 4.
But the bigger point is that there is no 107 directly to 131 kit.
That would require the OEM 114 crank be installed in your bottom end which is not usually a mod many make considering the cost/effort - not impossible though.
I'm thinking it's either a 107 with CNC heads and maybe some unknown piston/cylinder combo that would come up less than a 131 OR it's a 128 Stage 4. I guess.
Being Mr. Obvious, the only way you'll ever know for sure is to pull a head and measure the stroke and bore.
It's not all that hard and all you'd need is a little time, a few tools, and some new gaskets.
