I used a Right Angle pick to get the boots off that were ontop of the cylinder.
How can 3 of you not get a spark plug boot off? I'm really confused.
Did someone glue it in there?
Ive been working on Harleys for over 40 years. I fuked up the plug wire trying to remove the ones buried in the center of the head. Apparently the factory doesnt use dialectic grease.

You take a pair of long needle nose pliers and a coat hanger and bend up a couple small tight fish hooks and Mr boot pops off every time. Pull up and use the pliers to twist to top of the boot at the same time.
Now will that get me yelled at as much as the turkey baster for moving over filled oil thing did.
My wife wrote her name on the Turkey Baster. Blume as if thats gonna stop me from using it in the garage in a pinch. Im sure there are 3 other ones hiding in the garage somewhere.
these work as good as any, and you probably have them in the kitchen
Thank you for this. I went inside, my wife gave this exact thing to me, I did bend the tips a little sharper, and they did the job. So Im all set. Thank you.
