Default 20' fltrx build/modification

Hi,
not first HD, but new to group.
Just bought 20’ fltrx from auction. So no history or other info about bike comes together.
Wondering if there is a way to find out whats the build/modifications without physical disassemble it?
From photos it seems that something was done here.

Can’t really tell much from outside.. that AC might be aftermarket but looks incomplete anyway. Exhaust looks aftermarket but can’t tell. Anything under the covers(cam, rocker box, etc) you won’t be able to tell without taking off.

On the primary side it has a clear derby cover and under it looks like an aftermarket variable pressure plate for the clutch , can’t tell which brand though from the limited pictures

i am not very familiar with big bore kits. so it should be at least 124' as far as i can find?
pistons + cylinder is the minimum what i should look for? or it comes with something more in the kit as minimal?

You can assume the original engine was 107”, so yes it is likely a 124” kit.
without going into the cam chest, you can only guess which cam is in it.

We have no idea about anything else. Speculating will get you nowhere.

Either dig into the previous owner, or tear into it to see what is there.

With the cylinder kit, slipons and open style air cleaner, it would require a tune based on those modifications. Can't tell much about the exhaust except it looks like an OEM herader but was it de-catted? But to get specific, you would need either the documentation from the work or some disassembly is required.

Would have been nice if it came with the tuner.

How does it run? I mean unless there are issues and its running rough, or you're just curious whats in it, ride it and have fun.

meanwhile it crosses the atlantic ocean to europe. should be in 2 months.
since it looks only cosmetical damages i can fix that in local workshop with no delay and costs are known.
engine/tuning is another topic. to understand whats inside i need to disassembly it? this info is also needed to know when tuning is required? thats i guess will be 400-500eur
+ to understand if it is tuned correctly another 400-500 euros for dyno.

there should be an easier way.

This.
With a big bore it probably has a decent cam and tune already on it. Get an air cleaner on it, ride it, see how it runs, what the idle sounds like and observe how the spark plugs look after a while.
Probably no need to take anything apart if it sounds and runs good.

I wouldn't just assume anything. Especially with a supposed build. Too many people do these things and skip the most important part...tuning their $5000 build.
Not too smart considering the money in it and how fast it can go south. Especially.if it's any kind of high compression build.
Without being properly tuned, engine damage could be just a throttle burst away.
its easy for some to say jump on and let it rip. It's not their money.
Find out what's been done. Even if it means the hard way.
Then at least throw it on a dyno and see if it's been tuned or where it stands and go from there.
Just the opinion of someone who has spent a **** ton.on such a build...take it fwiw.
