Kinda new to the stage 1-4. My question is if I get the stage 2 done, later on I want the stage 4. Do the dealership just add what need be added to make it a stage 4 or all new parts? I know it's a dumb or.crazy question. Thanks in advance

HD does it like this
Stage 1: Exhaust and Intake.
Stage 2: Cam upgrade, sometimes manifold.
Stage 3: Bigger Cylinders and Pistons.
Stage 4: Head work and related modifications.
Stage 2 with a bolt in cam, to stage 4 will probably include swapping to a cam that requires higher than stock lift springs, and a large intake manifold.
So from standard bolt in stage 2 to stage 4 you will probably need a new cam, heads, 64mm manifold, cylinders, pistons, performance lifters, and many other new parts.

If you know youre going to do upgrades later, you can start gearing yourself towards that now. Some cams have lots of room to grow when it comes to displacement. Also, maybe you only get slipons now, and you can do a head pipe later. Any decent breather should work for both. Then you need to think about what tuner you will use.
If you plan on keeping warranty, some of those decisions will be made for you
