There are many bikes I’d walk from if I suspected issues from previous hands. But I wouldn’t rule out one if it checked out. Sorta case by case. For example if the op came across a different one that had a aftermarket cam and exhaust, maybe updated Iggy or tune… I’d think that’s a plus not negative. If that’s all I wanted, I’d be glad it’s already done.
So therefore if the bike has engine mods done I wouldn't buy it.
That's all I'm saying I'm not attacking anyone.
I respect your policy, and I think it's reasonable.
I would like to suggest however, I would feel comfortable and confident buying a bike with engine mods if the seller provided documentation of what was done, who (reputable Tech?) did the work and when was it done.
Exhibit A would be the Paid Invoice for the engine mod performed.

Now this might be an option. I was mainly talking about diy guys, and there are a bunch of them.
Hi here are some pictures of my 131 Stage 4 . Catastrophic Failure after 8300Km approx 4000miles down under in Australia.
Anyone with any thoughts on the reason, it happened interstate and the Tech repairing it says the Tune was Crappy and long days sitting on cruise control have exposed the Engine to Lean Cells in the Tune for extended periods causing overheating and seizure of rear cylinder and the front cylinder wasn't far of grabbing either. Back home my normal riding is twisty hills and constantly on/off the throttle.
