It's nice that everyone gives their insurance rates and which company offered a lower price but the comparison may not be apples to apples. How much unisured/underinsured coverage is in the quote? How much accessory coverage? Deductible? Other factors that play into your insurance rate is your location, your FICO score, etc.

So, the insurance company that offered the lowest premium to one person may not be the lowest for another.

Shop rates for same coverage from know company's take best deal. I had progress for a long time was great then they jacked me way up no reason given I was paying more than than a person with 2 DUI'd and I had no tickets in 20 plus years. Dropped them went else were.

I have USAA and went this route. I remember trying to compare to Allstate but you can't really get an instant quote online. At least I couldn't....not like Progressive anyway. I want a number. Allstate took me all through this online instant quote stuff and then at the end gave me the name of the independent agent at the nearest office in my town where I could get a great deal. That annoyed me since I was already being antisocial and trying to take care of it all online and not talk to anyone. I want to say Farmers did the same thing too I think I quickly checked them. When it comes time to renew I will kick the tires again on some companies.

Progressive gave me the number and it's also was lower if you pay in full rather than their installment breakdown. Geico I did not bother with.

I also compared the regular progressive quote to the one through USAA and it looks like their affiliate link saves you 10% against the normal progressive quote. I have nothing to compare my rate or plan to. I have a loan on the bike so that affects coverage type I think. The system matched a plan based on my auto coverage. I thought the price was ok but then again, I could have gotten hosed based on other companies or other people's rates. I paid upfront.

Hope that helps.

I have Geico for my 2016 CR-V and my 2017 Street Bob. Seems no matter which company you go with, they raise their rates or lower their coverage. Geico for instance doesn't use OEM replacement parts wherever possible.

It's funny how each company will offer different rates depending on vehicle, location and driving and/or credit history.
I have Erie for home and cars, Geico for my Custom car and Progressive for my bike.
each offers the lowest rates for what they are insuring. No one else has been able to beat them and I let other companies quote them.

Default Custom bike coverage

Has anyone here had coverage on a "factory" bike, and then had coverage on a true "custom" bike? Was there a difference in premiums? Did the factory bike cost more or less than the custom? Thanks in advance for any and all input y'all may have! Hope everyone is well and Roll Tide Roll!
