OK People, This is what I have learned and what I have decided to do. I know some of you are Haters of any ESP and that's your choice - I got a little beat up here for even asking this question, LOL.
When I bought my Harley ESP back in Aug of 2015, it was $1999 for the 7 years (yes I know it was really only 5 extra) that $1999 included the Wheel and Tire coverage. That runs out in Aug. Called the Harley dealer that sold it to me (another Harley ESP IS available) and Today it is Way expensive and I agree, not worth it. I called Jim Palmer (long time member here) and we started talking. He is an agent for one of the major companies that offer ESP. So happens that company is offering a (Spring sale) offering the Tire and wheel coverage for Free. I have decided to buy another 5 years of Coverage for my 2015 Ultra. Read all the small print and I am OK with it.
The Math over 5 years works out to $1.33 a DAY for full coverage + Tire and Wheel & Battery coverage that I was Not expecting.
I know its a gamble but we as Harley riders take a gamble each time we ride.
I can't buy a cup of coffee ( except McDonalds) for that $1.33.
As I had said earlier, I did this on my 2004 EG - When That bike was 10.5 years old & 88,000 miles. I sold it with 2 years left of the ESP - That ESP was a great advantage in selling that bike.

Bottom Line - Thank you to Jim Palmer and I can live with me spending $1.33 a day for my ESP and peace of mind.

If you Really think $1.33 a day is Too much money to spend on my Harley / LOL / So be it.

Great points...and I fully support your position. I also feel (known through experience) it separates you from the crowd if you want to resell the bike for a small transfer fee and some incremental value added to the price. A potential gets piece of mind in purchasing your bike. Honestly, I'm pretty good around the garage but I have neither the desire, the tools or the skillset to handle many of the current era bikes.

I got my extended warranty extended on my 2013. It was such a piece of junk always breaking down. The last repair was a complete engine and tranny rebuild would have cost me 8 grand. And that was with 130 k on it. If you ride a lot it can be worth the piece of mind.

My results and your results may not be the same.
to address your question. I bought my 7 year HD SP in Aug of 2015 - NOT from the dealer I got the bike at but an out of state dealer. Back in 2015, dealers were willing to sell the HD ESplan to anyone & Discount… Not today..
Back in 8/2015 I bought the 7 year with Tire & wherl coverage for $1999. Decent deal. I got this flyer a few days ago - called them /// their quote for another 5 years was a ‘Joke’. That is when I reached out to Jim Palmet & made a purschase.

full Disclosure on this flyer //// Harley must be no older than 15 years & have under 60K.
